Happy birthday to the godly Michael Corleone himself, Al Pacino! In honor of his birthday, watch any performance of his except the one for which he won the Oscar, which is, in my opinion, one of the worst decisions they ever made. It's a ridonkulously bad performance. That said, his work in The Godfather, Part II is my favorite. It's frightening how good he is. In an extremely competitive Best Actor year, I hand him the Oscar in a second. Panic in Needle Park, Serpico, The Godfather, Dog Day Afternoon, And Justice for All, Scarface, Dick Tracy, The Godfather Part III, Glengarry Glen Ross, Heat, Donnie Brasco, Insomnia, and ANGELS IN AMERICA!!!!, all spectacular as well. Heck, he's one of the best things about Gigli. Maybe, in honor of his birthday, I'll destroy all copies of Scent of a Woman (in case you didn't get it before: AWFUL MOVIE. I. HATE. THIS. MOVIE.) or finally get on seeing The Merchant of Venice. Happy birthday Al!
