ANTM C13. Time for the biannual Cover Girl clusterfuck!

There wasn't ONE trainwreck-bad commercial. BOOOOOOO!!!!!

1. Jennifer: She should have left a long time ago, but this commercial is excellent and she very much deserved the FCO for this week alone. This is one of the best commercials of all time on ANTM to be honest, right up there with Analeigh and Sheena’s F7 commercials in C11. She looks absolutely gorgeous and adorable, and despite the cheesiness, she actually comes across as natural and approachable. The head bobs at the end are a little weird, but it was an excellent job overall.
2. Nicole: I thought she was going to bomb this, but she did a very good job. She can do it all! She got her lines across with personality. The only reason she’s listed under Jennifer is because I think Jennifer got that Cover Girl personality down much more, and Nicole sounded just a little bit tired and, at the beginning of the commercial, she didn’t exactly seem genuine. She did an awesome job after that.
3. Brittany: The judges were pretty much 100% right about this. Her commercial was quite good and definitely very clear, but she didn’t put any … effort or personality into it. She sounded like a robot. Plus, she kind of looks creepier and creepier by the week, to be honest. That said, considering how incredibly horrible commercials have been in the past on this show – including this cycle! – I will take robotic over totally terrible.
4. Sundai: I had to laugh at this, and not in a good way. She just delivered her lines in a totally weird manner. The judges were right that she looked a little crazy at the beginning, too. That said, she got her lines across well and clearly displayed personality.
5. Laura: Oh, Laura. I love you, but I thought this was gonna be bad and… I wasn’t really let down. She looks really pretty and all, but she just came off as so awkward and unsure of herself. The accent wasn’t even the issue because she was very understandable, but she kept sputtering and repeating what she was supposed to say. I gotta give her credit for battling through her dyslexia AND the accent, though.
6. Rae: Eeek. She’s so beautiful, but she sounded and especially looked completely lost. It was hard to concentrate on what she was saying, she looked so uncomfortable. It’s far from the worst commercial ever on the history of this show, but it’s awkward and bad.
7. Erin: If Rae was lost and awkward, I don’t know what the hell Erin was. She looked so uncomfortable throughout this commercial that I wanted to like… reach through the screen and give her a hug or something. Again, it was impossible to concentrate on what she was actually saying or the product she was selling. Awful. I’m really glad she stayed, though.
