Laura Linney is typecast as the "woman with issues"? Isn't virtually every good female role a "woman with issues"? That's what makes the roles good. They have issues that they have to sort out, and deal with. I mean, what if the characters had no issues? Then they'd be perfect. And that's not much fun for an actor, now is it?
