Ben Affleck's effing hot in Dogma.

(Wow, that's a crappy picture. Sorry about that.)

It's too bad he's trying to, you know. Destroy the world in it. Also, did you know Bill Murray was considered for Jason Lee's role? And why does Jason Lee only seem to do movies and television shows that are far, far below him? (Not that Dogma is. It's a really awesome movie, actually.)

Good year for the Andersons. For my Oscar ballot, just cut off QT.

Brotherly love.

Hmm. It would be pretty repulsive to say I have some vaguely prurient thoughts after seeing this picture, so...I won't say that.

Certainly not here, either.

Sorry, boyf. And readers. For being repulsive.

NOTHING on the Oscars was half as funny as this.

When Josh Groban pops up? OH. MY. GOD. I. DIE.

So I'm watching Shakespeare in Love right now and I just realized Colin Firth has to wear delicate little pearl earrings (foreshadowing?). And you know what? He totally pulls them off. That's right. Colin Firth is so good-looking and charming that he can pull earrings off.

Also, the best supporting actor in this movie is Ben Affleck by miles and miles. 'Cuz he's awesome.

HA.

So it's officially okay to like Baffleck now right? HA. I win. I loved him before Gone Baby Gone. I loved him before Jen did! I win!

happy birthday oh secret favorite.

Okay, he's definitely not my favorite favorite, but I do love me some Baffleck. He makes horrendous career choices, but when he's in good movies, he is indeed good. I give him a nom for Shakespeare in Love, shockingly enough, and wish I had room for him for Hollywoodland. Anyone that dislikes him nowadays is just picking on him; he makes actual decent career choices and is totally not a media whore any more. Happy birthday Ben! Your family is so adorable!

Ryan Gosling

Yes, he's talented. Yes, he's lovely. However, I've found about at least 5 random blog entries over the past month or so raving about how he is the BEST actor and the MOST HANDSOME man ever. Please stop it, everyone, or else I will grow tired of Ryan Gosling and dislike him for no reason of his own.

For the record: I, too, think he is extremely talented (he's got my Oscar for 2006) and pretty hot, when he's not rocking some questionable facial hair. And him and Rachel McAdams are like, the cutest celebrity couple ever, other than Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner...

in praise of Ben Affleck

...really. I adore him.

1. Hooottttt. Hot hot hot hot hot. Hottttttt.
2. He is no longer a joke (especially since he stopped dating Jennifer Lopez).
3. He is fantastic in Hollywoodland, totally deserving of all the praise he gets.
4. His script for Good Will Hunting really is great.
5. Sure he was in Daredevil (and Pearl Harbor and Gigli...okay the man makes some bad career choices), but he was also in Shakespeare in Love.
6. ...and he was GREAT in Shakespeare in Love!
7. He is part of my favorite Hollywood couple. Seriously, him and Jennifer Garner are adorable, have one of the cutest babies I've ever seen (seriously, I hate babies, but Violet is so darn cute), and seem totally normal and in love. If they break up, I will cry.
8. Gigli isn't that bad. Okay, it's bad, but it is far from the worst movie ever.
9. I like how he is best friends with Matt Damon. That's adorable.
10. Don't you just want to go get a beer with him? I think if I could be friends with any guy in Hollywood, it would be him.

Love ya Ben.
