So I'm watching Shakespeare in Love right now and I just realized Colin Firth has to wear delicate little pearl earrings (foreshadowing?). And you know what? He totally pulls them off. That's right. Colin Firth is so good-looking and charming that he can pull earrings off.

Also, the best supporting actor in this movie is Ben Affleck by miles and miles. 'Cuz he's awesome.

Okay, he's definitely not my favorite favorite, but I do love me some Baffleck. He makes horrendous career choices, but when he's in good movies, he is indeed good. I give him a nom for Shakespeare in Love, shockingly enough, and wish I had room for him for Hollywoodland. Anyone that dislikes him nowadays is just picking on him; he makes actual decent career choices and is totally not a media whore any more. Happy birthday Ben! Your family is so adorable!
