Jenna Fischer has a pretty lame interview here. It only further convinces me that chick, as much as I love her acting and think she kicks ass, should not ever go anywhere near the writers' board for The Office (I mean, Jenna, I love you, but your ideas are just dumb. Roy should be back! Jim and Pam aren't meant to be together and are just supposed to push each other toward the person they're supposed to marry! Jim and Pam aren't ready to be engaged yet! Making a separate show called Art School seems so great! It really doesn't matter if Pam doesn't come back to D-M Scranton!).

Oh, and I don't buy the "we don't know if she's going back to D-M yet." Of course they do. They're just not telling us.

One thing I'm not worried much about this season? JAM. I keep the faith.

Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski, Amy Ryan, and Rainn Wilson in making their respective top 10s at the Emmys!

But perhaps, an even bigger congratulations to Steve Carell, for changing his episode from "Branch Wars" to "Goodbye, Toby" (maybe he read this blog ;) ). I think Baldwin's still going to win this one, but at least it's a fight now.

We had a Premiere party and got a sneak peak at the next episode, "Parking" (now titled "The Chair Model"...thanks Sara the Dork!) Okay…I know I say this every time…it's the best. The cast was blown away. We laughed. We gasped. I even got a little choked up. I think these 6 post-strike episodes are some of our strongest yet.


Pam and Jim are so getting engaged. :)

Also, was this the "majorly spoilery" cover according to OfficeTally? Cuz...it's really not. It's just speculation we all have. It's as appropriate as "Will Jim and Pam get together???" would have been during Season 2 or 3.

Also also (teehee), PEOPLE NEED TO STOP MAKING SUCH A BIG DEAL ABOUT THE EXPRESSION ON JENNA'S FACE. It's not a still from an episode (unless it's like The Office: Barbie Edition). They're just tryin' to hype everything up. Geez.

So in an interview with Playboy (don't look at me like that. I read the transcript on a website for The Office), Jenna Fischer talks about something that happened when she had just come to Los Angeles to look for work. She met a no-name screenwriter at a party. He asked her if she would be willing to do a graphic sex scene; she said no. He told her, verbatim: "A real actress would say yes. A real actress would piss herself onstage if that's what it took ... You should just go home. You don't have what it takes." In Playboy, Jenna responds to him belatedly: "I should have told him, 'How about I piss on your face? Does that make me a real actress? Let's try that. I'll do that right here. I'll do that today.' Bring me Shem Bitterman [the screenwriter]."

We must celebrate, as it is the birthday of those who give/gave life to Clyde Martin, Tessa Quayle, and Pam Beesley. LOVE all three - characters, and actors.
