It turns out one main Office star will be leaving after this season -– though details are secret as to which one. Who’s NOT a likely candidate for Office downsizing? Leatherheads star John Krasinski.
“There couldn’t be a show without John Krasinski,” Flannery says. “Jim and Pam? Come on!”
It's true she could be saying this to throw us off the track, but yeah, I think the show's producers realize that Jim and Pam are major and a big reason a lot of people tune in. I'm leaning toward either Ryan or Toby leaving (or Kelly, I guess, but I don't see any reason for her to leave), because either BJ or Paul (or Mindy) would get to stay on the show as a writer. It'll probably be Toby, as Paul has said many times he doesn't really like acting. But I know those darn writers are gonna throw some crazy stuff at us... damn them ;) (hey, as long as they keep it funny and keep JAM happy...)
On another note, everyone keeps talking about how "twisty" the season finales are. Are they? Nothing is twisty in "Casino Night." I mean, Jim had to say something to Pam, right? The only real twist in "The Job" is Ryan getting the job. Sure, there are shockers - that final kiss, Jan's boob job, Pam's note for Jim - but are they really twists? I dunno.
