Seinfeld's finale was ten years ago today. I was on my fifth grade graduation trip to Philadelphia. I'd never watched Seinfeld before in my life, obviously (dude, I was like 10. What were you expecting), but all the adult chaperones on the trip gathered everyone in a room and we all watched it together. The adults were dying of laughter. Us fifth graders just sat there and wondered what was so funny. Awk.
Though I've heard it called "unfunny and masturbatory" (?!?!) from non-NYers, if you're at all familiar with New York, seriously, Seinfeld rocks. Words can't describe how perfectly funny it is.
