Strut it, Steve.
Mr. Carell was completely snubbed in 2004 and 2006 for Best Supporting Actor - hell, he should have won the thing in 2006. While he wasn't quite deserving of a nomination in 2005 or 2007, for both years he absolutely deserved a nomination in the Golden Globe Best Musical/Comedy actor (and again: in 2005, he should have won the thing). And of course, he should be showered with Emmys (though I'm terrible at judging TV acting; I tend to be like, if they're in a drama and they make me feel something, good! If they're in a comedy and they make me giggle, good!). I'm really disturbed by people that think he's hot, but he's got the rare gift of always bringing the funny and never losing the nuance or complete grip of the character. He plays both at the same time, and the man's a genius.
For reference, the performances I'm talking about -
04: Anchorman
05: The 40-Year-Old Virgin
06: Little Miss Sunshine
07: Dan in Real Life
