Happy birthday to the coolest suprise nominee and my favorite actress currently working (and maybe ever), the Lovely Laura Linney. Here is a piece I wrote about her not very long ago, officially declaring her the patron saint of this blog; excuse all the horrible typos and weird run-on sentences (but really, yikes, what was I doing there?), but La Linney has the power to make anyone's brain turn to mush with how friggin' amazing she is. Ahhh, worship, worship. And give her the Oscar she deserves, dammit!
