It's sad that we never really get to talk about him in my art history classes; I honestly do think he's appreciated, but because he wasn't breaking any new ground at a time when other American artists were, he kind of gets lost in the shuffle, and that's very unfortunate, because his paintings are beautiful. Especially, yes, Christina's World. The mood this painting evokes is absolutely amazing.
