You know, I really shouldn't bother to read forums any more. Though they often bring up very insightful points, everyone there cancels these points out by being extremely large morons all the time. There's always someone complaining about the lack of JAM (I don't care, though I am assuming they'll have a big thing later in the season... if they continue like this until the end of the season, then I might get annoyed), or how depressing this episode was, or how random the Hilary Swank subplot was...
No. Stop. Just... stop. You're complaining about things that happened in S2.
I really think a lot of this waaah The Office is now the worst show ever and I can't even be bothered to watch it waaah is due to fatigue. I understand that. This show started at the tail end of high school for me, S2 was freshman year of college, S3 sophomore year, and S4 junior year. I understand how people could be like "I'm just done" because for me, even though my parents are like "OMG GRADUATE SCHOOL," at this point I'm basically screaming no back to them via a megaphone. I'm just done with school right now. And that's fine, but I wish these people would just admit it rather than behave like they do with the incessant negativity and "I GIVE UP ON THIS SHOW BAAAAAWWWWWWWW"
No, "Moroccan Christmas," "The Duel," and "Prince Family Paper" are not the strongest episodes of the series. But they are all good and waaaay more than just "meh, watchable." Like I've said 500 times, people seem to forget that S2 has this whole stretch of episodes that I never really want to watch again. They weren't bad, they were just not as strong as the others. I think any one of those episodes is better than "Boys and Girls," "Valentine's Day," "The Carpet," or "Michael's Birthday," and that's just off the top of my head. Who knows, in two years I could be bitching about the fact that Jim not letting his son wear a dress to pre-K means he's a HUGE asshole. But I hope I'll be willing to realize that at least part of it is because at that point, I'll have been watching this show for like three and a half years. And I'm gonna be a little tired.
