Derek Jeter, you know, I think you're totally adorable and obviously you're, you know, good at baseball and all that (I'm GETTIN' OUT THE BROOMS for tomorrow night ;) ), but OH MY GOD YOUR CAR OR WHATEVER ELSE COMMERCIALS ARE PAINFUL. Like, ANTM girls trying to do a commercial-level painful.
The thing is, when I see Jeter talking to the press after games or whatever, he's always extremely well-spoken and very classy. He doesn't come off like a monotone robot, like he does in every one of his numerous commercials. Maybe having him read off a cue card is a terrible idea? IDK.
