Seriously, if you put me out in the desert with a cowboy-style challenge cooking over an open flame, I wouldn't think "oh! time to make some delicately chopped-up raw fish yay!!!" And TWO PEOPLE are making ceviche, at least! TWO!
Mattin is so cute, but he seems really dim.
As for Top Chef, ugh, I love this season SFM. Now that I've finally seen all the seasons, I can officially say that it's gearing up to be the best ever by the end. The only problem is that the F4 being Kevin, the two brothers, and Jen seems way too obvious, unless some sort of Tre-in-Restaurant-Wars thing happens... but I like the four of them so much, I don't want their frontrunner status to go away! I mean, really, who should be in the finals over them? Robin? Ashley? Mike I.? Hell no.
I'll say that I'm surprised Jessie went home. Yeah, she hadn't been cooking that well, but - and I think I said this before - by her confessionals and the general vibe I got from her it almost seemed like she was going to become the Carla of this season, where she'd suck and barely get by until Restaurant Wars or so, and then she'd start KILLING IT and make it all the way to the finals. I like her, and I do believe her when she said "I don't usually suck this much" or whatever, because she just seemed SO over her head.
Oh, and they finally sent home a dude! Whatever, the guys are so much better than the girls, save Jen, this season, it's not even funny.
